Cold winds may chill a fleeting thought, but rooted memories stay warm forever.
Venia ad vitam aeternam
There'll be no grief if you don't blind me
but I'll take your heart, I'm a foolish thief
don't lie, 'cause you can't trick my mind
but if not known I will ask why.
don't lie, 'cause you can't trick my mind
but if not known I will ask why.
Fortuna exprimitur artibus falsis
et mendacem memorem esse oportet.
I could be your moon, shining in the night
I could be the light, I'll give it as a boon
I could be your earth, steady for to stand on
I could be your find, whatever for you searched.
I could be the light, I'll give it as a boon
I could be your earth, steady for to stand on
I could be your find, whatever for you searched.
Adoratio permanebit
quotiens me eges, adero.
I have tried to see infinity in eyes of someone else
but only for myself have I felt the misery
I didn't recognize what has to be
and lived my life in disguise.
Venia ad vitam aeternam
non mibi, non tibi, sed nobis.
I belong to someone that I'm dedicated to
wanting, having, holding is all gone and done
passes in slow motion one thoughtless moment
and lasts forever this blind devotion.
Fortuna mutual coniuncti
Per tota saecula futura.
You'll be mine if you don't blind me
I'll take your heart and I'll give you mine
and I'll strife, for all I'm worth
to love and give eternal life.

Firefly (songtext)
We look up to the sky
fireflies are flying high
like little stars their lights
how it feels so free to fly.
I would like to know
but we are ruled by fears below
there's more than meets the eye
there's more than we deny.
Chorus:
We are told our future, fortune
still we live behind a veil
but I can tell you there can't always be
a happy end to every tale.
We look to the skies
at all the little fireflies
even though reality denies
we can fly...
but still we can't deny
our dreams ar not alive.
Chorus:
We are told our future, fortune
still we live behind a veil
but I can tell you there can't always be
a happy end to every tale.
So all that you can do
is all that you can try
every once in a while set your light on fire
and fly.

Forget.
When devils pray
and angels swear
when cats and mice
play fair
when water
changes into wine
world and wealth
will be mine
when love
will be taboo
only then
will I forget you.
and angels swear
when cats and mice
play fair
when water
changes into wine
world and wealth
will be mine
when love
will be taboo
only then
will I forget you.

the depths of your Eye.
When the storm gathers, there is shelter in it's eye.
But when the storm clears, the eye will close.
Nothing lasts forever...
But when the storm clears, the eye will close.
Nothing lasts forever...
A burned word
In anger spoken
a letter broken
torn and shred
and set afire.
a letter broken
torn and shred
and set afire.
The words now gone
the damage done
no stay or defence
from the brand of liar.
A heated word
a world of hurt
from a bush of thorns
into a patch of briars.
Spoken and written
the letters have bitten
turned to ashes
on a smouldering pyre.

being difficult
People who are being difficult, most of the time don't understand it themselves.
That's why they are being difficult.
I don't understand that...
That's why they are being difficult.
I don't understand that...
nod & neglect
When I explain something and people just nod, then I know that they don't understand a thing.
Willingness...
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?
Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing?
Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God?
Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?
Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing?
Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God?
